Nobody Listens Anymore
Written and directed by Leo Bill
Nobody Listens Anymore tells the story of a woman, suffocated by the safety of middle class life, who, at a dinner party, recounts a potentially disturbing event that leaves her friends questioning her sanity.
Starring Phoebe Fox, Tobias Menzies, Matthew Steer, Ayesha Antoine,
Rhys Rusbatch and Maëva Demurger.
Influenced by the films of John Cassavetes and Robert Altman and inspired by conversations around Black Lives Matter and the #MeToo movement. The white middle class insist on their comfort around difficult conversations but when actually confronted by something difficult, they very often cure the problem, completely wishing it away, with their own false medication.
Nobody Listens Anymore is currently doing the festival run.
